Bold Big Band are delighted to confirm we will once again be performing at the Great North Big Band Jazz Festival on Saturday 2nd March 2024.
This will be the fourth year we have performed at the festival and we are due to start playing at 2.00pm. Tickets are available at £15 for the whole weekend or just £10 for the day ticket. Tickets are only available on the door.
The Great North Big Band Jazz Festival sees around a dozen big bands competing in the open section. Some bands are from the local area, including Bold Big Band, however there are some who travel halfway across the country to take part!
Each band performs a 20 minute set which will be marked by the two adjuticators. A variety of awards will be decided at the end of the day. The winning band, along with two others, will be invited back on stage to perform a 45 minute set.
